Qualitative Analysis and Methodologies in Psychology (QAMP)

The purpose of the network is to create opportunities for researchers to discuss and collaborate on various topics relevant to qualitative research with a primarily psychological focus. Thus, the network aims to strengthen qualitative research and teaching of qualitative methods at the Department of Psychology at Lund University.

We intend to meet regularly to, among other things:

  • Discuss methodological issues relevant of qualitative research in psychology
  • Discuss issues relevant of teaching qualitative research to psychology students
  • Discuss issues relevant of publishing qualitative research in psychology
  • Provide helpful and supportive insight into each other's research ideas, preliminary analyses, and materials for data generation
  • Share findings from qualitative research conducted at the department
  • Share resources relevant of different qualitative methodologies
    Interested in joining?

Currently, the network brings together researchers at all levels (e.g., doctoral students, postdocs, professors, lecturers), regardless of their previous experience with qualitative research or teaching, their field of study, or their methodological approach.

Interested in joining our network?
To join as an active member, you need to have some connection to Lund University, such as being a current or former employee, student, or supervisor, or previous/current collaboration with someone active at Lund University. Although the network focuses on psychological research, our definition of “psychological” is broad, and we welcome members from related disciplines such as gender studies, history, cognitive science, sociology, and law who are conducting psychologically relevant research.
