The departmental board

The departmental board

  • decides on the guidelines for the department’s activities and use of resources
  • follows up activities at the department, analyses results and ensures that resources are used efficiently
  • decides on matters delegated to the board

The board consists of the head of department, five teaching staff members, one TA staff member and two student representatives. The directors of studies and the deputy head of department have the right to make statements, but not to vote.

Documents for the board are to be submitted to the head of department at the most one week and one day before the board meeting.

The summons to a meeting goes out one week before the meeting, together with relevant documentation.
