Lärande i forskarutbildningen (PDF) 

Doktoranders lärande är ett nytt och expansivt forskningsområde, både nationellt och internationellt. Detta projekt syftar till att studera doktoranders utveckling av kritiskt tänkande, kreativitet, självständighet, samt kommunikationsförmåga. Studien baseras huvudsakligen på kvalitativ metodik.

The Difference between the Perception of Experienced and Communicated Psychological and Physical Violence in Intimate Relationships (PDF)

Physical and psychological violence are risk factors for poor physical and mental health. Reports of intimate partner violence, typically focus on the physical aspects, whereas first hand reports emphasize the psychological aspects. In this interdisciplinary project with partners from psychology and law, we investigate communication biases in a new paradigm where participants are asked to write and grade self-experienced psychological and physical violence.

Statistically Measuring and Describing Psychological Constructs with Words, not Numbers (PDF)

This project aims to show that our open-ended semantic questions approach analyzed with statistical semantics yields good statistical properties; with competitive, or higher, validity and reliability than corresponding numerical rating scales.

Cognitive Enhancement by Auditive or Current Noise Stimulation in Inattentive People (PDF)

We have several potential studies where we are looking for students with interests in this area; a) Using a noise as an alternative method to treat people with ADHD. We have developed and an App called SmartNoise, which aims to diagnose and treat people with inattentive problems. The study would evaluate this App. b) We are interested in inducing noise in the brain though electrical stimulation using tDCS or tRNS. In particular we interested in looking at whether electrical brain stimulation selectively enhance cognitive performance in low attentive people.

Physical education and sport as a tool for integration: Effects of emotional competence and motivational climate (PDF)

The aim of this project is thus to understand the effects of motivational climate and teachers’ emotional competence within a PE context, for the wellbeing of youth, with special focus on specific gender and cultural differences.
