Quantitative Methods – Advanced statistics

The course offers an introduction to structural equation models (SEM) and mixed model analyses, including their theoretical background and how to use the methods in different research scenarios. The participant is further encouraged to apply some of the methods to their own data, especially when working with their final assignment.

The course consists of lectures, compulsory seminars, see Syllabus (PDF, 151 kb, new window), and assignments.

The course starts in  August 2023 and ends in November. Applications, name and affiliation, should be sent via e-mail to Åse Innes-Ker (ase [dot] innes-ker [at] psy [dot] lu [dot] se (ase[dot]innes-ker[at]psy[dot]lu[dot]se)) no later than the 1st of June 2023. The course is open to PhD-candidates in Psychology from other universities as far as space allows.
