How to apply
Please discuss the courses you want to apply for with your supervisor before completing the application form.
If the number of applicants exceeds available places, applicants are prioritized as follows:
- PhD students from the Department of Psychology, Lund University
- PhD students from the Faculty of Social Sciences, Lund University
- PhD students from other faculties at Lund University
- External PhD students
- Applicants from other universities
Applicants from other universities, including other universities in Sweden, are required to pay a course fee. The current fee is 8 500 SEK for each PhD course offered by the Faculty.
If you are not a PhD student at Lund University, you also need to fill out a special permission form and submit it with your application.
Request this special permission form from the study director of the doctoral programme Åse Innes-Ker and submit it with your application.
What happens next?
Applications closes at June 1, 2022. An email containing admissions result will be sent to you shortly after the application closes.
If you are placed on a reserve list, you will be notified of this as well.
Please inform us as soon as possible if you are no longer planning on taking a course as there might be other students on the reserve list.
