Facilitators to support implementation – A concept mapping approach
The exemplified focus area of the seminar is injury prevention training in youth handball.
Evidence has shown that injury prevention training is highly effective, but problems arise in relation to adoption, implementation and sustainability of these programs in real-world settings.
Concept mapping, a mixed-method participatory approach for qualitative data collection and quantitative data analysis, will be presented and discussed as one way to better understand the facilitators for program implementation.
I-PROTECT is an acronym for “Implementing injury Prevention exercise ROutines in TEams and Clubs in youth Team handball”.
