Frida Rydqvist: "Executive functions and well-being among children and adolescents"
Planeringsseminarium med Frida Rydqvist.
Frida Rydqvist is a licensed clinical psychologist and doctoral student within the project “Executive functions and well-being among children and adolescents”, which is led and supervised by associate professor Daiva Daukantaité and associate professor Eva Hoff. This doctoral project is part of the overarching WISE-project (Well-being in the school environment).
Frida’s PhD project is about executive functions and their association to several aspects of mental health among Swedish children and adolescents. Frida is interested in how self- and parent-reported executive functions relate to different aspects of mental health, from a cross-sectional as well as a longitudinal point of view.
The project consists mainly of these three parts:
- To collect Swedish normative data for the BRIEF-2, which is a self-report scale that measures executive functions among children and adolescents 5-18 years of age.
- To investigate students’ (13-15 years old) “executive profiles” and how these profiles relate to several aspects of mental health from a cross-sectional perspective.
- To investigate students’ (13-15 years old) “executive profiles” and how these profiles relate to several aspects of mental health, from a longitudinal point of view.
