Our school and preschool studies

Trauma-informed care and child resilience

Through a series of controlled, longitudinal studies we evaluate short and long-term effects of the psychoeducational trauma-informed intervention the Three Pillars of Transforming Care directed towards school and preschool educators. We examine perceived professional self-efficacy, knowledge of trauma-informed care, understanding of the child’s behavior and professional well-being. We also conduct qualitative studies on teachers’ and preschool teachers’ experiences of trauma-informed care in the school and preschool setting.
