Programme-specific documents for your application – Statement of Purpose
In addition to the documents supporting your basic and programme-specific eligibility, you need to submit a statement of purpose when applying for the Master’s programme in psychology.
The statement of purpose is an important part of your application – it is your opportunity to show us who you are. We will consider carefully all your responses based on clarity, relevance and scientific content.
Initially, your statement of purpose should state your name, application number, the country for your BSc/BA degree, the name of the University, the required credits (or study hours) and a clarification of your transcripts regarding courses in methods, statistics, and psychology. Then you have the opportunity to provide more elaborate information about your academic reasons and interests by:
- Specifying the reasons for why you are applying for the Master’s programme in Psychology at Lund University
- Providing a draft research proposal
