Students wishing to study the Master’s programme in Psychology apply online, using the national University Admissions in Sweden website called universityadmissions.se.

Programme-specific documents for your application – Application Summary and Statement of Purpose
In addition to the documents supporting your basic and programme-specific eligibility, you need to submit the document 'application summary and statement of purpose' when applying for the Master’s programme in psychology.
Initially, you should state your name, application number, the country for your BSc/BA degree, the name of the University, the required credits (or study hours) and a clarification of your transcripts regarding courses in methods, statistics, and psychology.
Then, you have the opportunity to provide more elaborate information about your academic reasons and interests by:
- Specifying the reasons for why you are applying for the Master’s programme in Psychology at Lund University
- Providing a draft research proposal
The statement of purpose is an important part of your application – it is your opportunity to show us who you are. We will consider carefully all your responses based on clarity, relevance and scientific content.
